The foundation bought books authored by some young Gambian writers and donated them to the National Library as as a show of support to the young writers and Gambian literature.
Poetry, we believe is the foundation of literature and there is no better way to help its growth than equipping the national library with books authored by Gambians. The gesture serves as both an empowerment tool for the young writers as well as enriching Gambian literature through advocacy for more Gambian writers.
